FieldView Data Inbox Compatibility List

Listing of displays and Farm Management Information Systems that are compatible with Data Inbox to import boundaries, planting, application and harvest shapefiles.

• Planting Data Requirements:

For planting files to be uploaded successfully in Data Inbox, they will need to be recorded with a monitor that FieldView™ supports that can save and export data. This data must be collected along with an active GPS signal and rate controller. 

Note: FieldView no longer supports the upload of planting coverage maps with zero rate. Files with no date will also fail to import. Additionally, we do not support edited data from outside Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS), this does not include Ag Leader® SMS.

• Application Data Requirements: 

For application files, such as granular or liquid, to be uploaded successfully in Data Inbox, they will need to be recorded with a monitor that FieldView™ supports that can save and export data. This data must be collected along with an active GPS signal and rate controller.

• Harvest Data Requirements:

For harvest files to be uploaded successfully in Data Inbox, they will need to be recorded with a monitor that FieldView™ supports that can save and export data. This data must be collected along with an active GPS signal, yield sensors, and moisture sensors.

The following Displays and Farm Management Information Systems are compatible with Data Inbox:

Boundary, Shapefile and Prescription import: Requires .shp, .dbf and .shx files.  Attributes in the file will be available for visualization (except for boundaries).  If the file is incorrectly categorized, there is an option to switch the import type between a shapefile or prescription.  No third party system requirements.

Non-Satellite Imagery - Non-satellite images in GEOTIFF format (.tif) under 500 MB

The following list includes supported file formats for import into FieldView through the Data Inbox.

If your soil test data does not match any of these supported systems and column headings, please contact support at 1.888.924.7475 or support@climate.com to provide an example file with each soil sample property that you measure and we will work to map this format into our system to help you get your soil data maps into FieldView.

The file types listed below have successfully been loaded into FieldView accounts but we are still continuing to run testing to validate the accuracy. As we have not fully completed testing on these file types, please note you could experience inconsistency in your data and the maps created from this data.
